Haptic sculpturing
Abstract:
The text of this work deals with possibility of using haptic devices in the field of sculpturing and modeling. The work compares possible approaches of solving questions like clay and tool design, which might be used in haptic sculpturing system. The software part contains an application called Virtual sculpting system, which implements some of the representations of clay and tool.
Abstract:
Textová časť práce sa zaoberá možnosťou využitia haptického zariadenia v oblasti sochárstva a modelovania. Porovnáva možné prístupy riešenia haptického modelovania v otázkach návrhu virtuálnej hliny a nástrojov. Programová časť práce obsahuje aplikáciu Virtual sculpting system, ktorá implementuje niektoré reprezentácie hliny a nástrojov.
