Job satisfaction of support workers in group homes for disabilities

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bude posouzení celkové úrovně pracovní spokojenosti pracovníků v sociálních službách v domovech pro osoby se zdravotním postižením a dále posouzení úrovně spokojenosti s některými aspekty jejich pracovního života, a to zejména s oblastí mzdy, kariérního růstu, se svými nadřízenými, s oblastí sociálních výhod, odměn, pracovních podmínek v organizaci, se svými spolupracovníky, s druhem vykonávané práce a s oblastí komunikace v rámci organizace. Budu také zjišťovat, zda existují rozdíly v úrovni pracovní spokojenosti pracovníků v závislosti na věku, délce praxe a dosaženém vzdělání. Úvodní část práce bude věnována popisu a charakteristice oblasti sociálních služeb, řízení lidských zdrojů, motivace a pracovní spokojenosti, v další části práce pak budu hledat odpověď na výzkumnou otázku „Jaká je pracovní spokojenost pracovníků v sociálních službách v domovech pro osoby se zdravotním postižením a existují rozdíly v pracovní spokojenosti pracovníků v závislosti na jejich věku, délce praxe a dosaženém vzdělání?“

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis will be assessment of an overall level of job satisfaction of social services workers in group homes for the disabled and further the assessment of job satisfaction level in relation to some aspects of their work-life, especially in the area of salary, career growth, their superiors, social benefits, remuneration, workplace conditions in an organization, their coworkers, type of work performed and communication within the organization. I will also determine if there exist any differences in levels of job satisfaction of workers, depending on age, length of practice and educational attainment. Introduction to this thesis will be dedicated to a description and characterization of the area of social services, human resources management, motivation, and job satisfaction, next part will focus on finding the answer to a research question “What is the job satisfaction of social workers in homes for the disabled, and are there any differences in the job satisfaction, depending on their age, length of practice and educational attainment? “
