Abstract:

CÍLE: Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, jaké zkušenosti mají starší dospělí a sociální pracovníci s využíváním PARO robota. TEORETICKÁ VÝCHODISKA: Zaměření se nejen na zkušenosti s využíváním PARO robota, ale i na jeho výhody a nevýhody ze stran informantů. METODY: Pro zjištění byla zvolena metoda kvalitativní studie, realizovaná v období října až prosince 2023. Výzkumný vzorek tvořilo 8 účastníků, kteří byli klienty v domově Odry a 2 sociální pracovnice. VÝSLEDKY: Klienti domova Odry jsou otevřeni k získávání zkušeností s využíváním PARO robota. Jejich dosavadní zkušenosti nejsou rozsáhlé, ale hlazení a konverzace s ním mají rádi. Sociální pracovnice nepracují s PARO robotem. Informace o něm získávají ze záznamů aktivizační pracovnice, která má PARO robota na starosti. IMPLEMENTACE PRO SOCIÁLNÍ PRÁCI: Zapojení sociálních robotů do sociálních služeb pro seniory na základě zjištěných zkušeností klientů i seniorů s využíváním sociálního robota v rámci České republiky.

Abstract:

OBJECTIVES: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out what experiences older adults and social workers have with the use of the PARO robot. THEORETICAL BACKGROUND: Focusing not only on the experience of using the PARO robot, but also on its advantages and disadvantages from the informants' side. METHODS: A qualitative study method was chosen for the findings, conducted between October and December 2023. The research sample consisted of 8 participants who were clients in the Odry home and 2 social workers. RESULTS: The clients of Odry home are open to gaining experience with the use of PARO robot. Their previous experience is not extensive, but they enjoy stroking and conversing with it. The social workers do not work with the PARO robot. They get information about it from the records of the activation worker who is in charge of the PARO robot. IMPLEMENTATION FOR SOCIAL WORK: Incorporation of social robots into social services for the elderly based on the identified experiences of clients and seniors with the use of social robots in the Czech Republic.
