Management Processes in the Kindergarten and the Primary School as One Legal Entity

Abstract:

Cílem rigorózní práce je teoreticky představit problematiku řízení vzdělávací instituce se zaměřením na řízení základní školy a mateřské školy jako jednoho právního subjektu. Dílčím cílem je zachytit specifikum organizační struktury školy, které se promítá do řízení a vedení školy. Teoretická část je zaměřena na definování klíčových pojmů managementu a řízení i vedení vzdělávací instituce, důraz bude kladen na roli ředitele školy jako manaže-ra, který vede a řídí dva subjekty sloučené do jedné organizace. Specifikum řízení obou odlišných vzdělávacích institucí je popsáno v teoretické rovině z hlediska legislativního, manažerského i praktického. Případová studie popisuje řídící procesy v konkrétní základní a mateřské škole jako jedné příspěvkové organizaci. Empirická část přináší poznatky a zkušenosti z reálného prostředí základní a mateřské školy v jednom právnickém subjektu a nabízí doporučení pro další výzkumná i praktická využití.

Abstract:

The aim of the rigorosum thesis is to theoretically introduce the management piece of knowledge about the educational institutions focusing on the management of primary school and kindergarten as one legal entity. The partial aim is to point out the specificity of the organizational school structure that is reflected in the proceedings of the school ma-nagement. The theoretical part focuses on defining the key concepts of management as well as the leading the educational institution. The emphasis is placed on the role of the school headteacher as a manager of two entities merged into one organization. The management particularity of two different educational institutions is described on the theoretical level in terms of legislative, managerial and practical point of view. The case study describes management processes at a particular primary school and kindergarten as one contributory organization. The empirical part brings findings and experience from the real environment of primary and kindergarten school in one legal entity and provides recommendations for further research and practical use.
