The aim of this bachelor thesis is the analysis and the interpretation of two chosen novels by the Czech author writing in German Libuše Moníková, that are "Pavane für eine verstorbene Infantin" and "Verklärte Nacht". Téma této bakalářské práce je analýza a interpretace dvou vybraných románů české, německy píšící autorky Libuše Moníkové, které se jmenují "Pavana za mrtvou infantku" a "Zjasněná noc". První kapitola představuje život autorky, její dílo a ocenění. Interpretace je zaměřena především na česko-německé vztahy, jak autorka znázorňuje Čechy a jak Němce.
