Flood-protection measures in the Opava river basin
Abstract:
Povodí řeky Opavy patří mezi území, kde povodeň v roce 1997 napáchala největší škody. Od této doby se začalo velmi intenzivně pracovat na protipovodňové ochraně sídel, přesto některá z nich stále dostatečně chráněna nejsou. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na nejohroženější oblasti v povodí a pokouší se nalézt vhodná řešení pro zlepšení jejich protipovodňové ochrany.
Abstract:
The Opava river basin is one of the areas where the biggest damage took place during the flood in 1997. Since this year the flood-protection measures of the municipalities have been implemented very intensively. In spite of this, some of the municipalities are still not well-protected.
