Abstract:
The key regulators of chromatin structure, dynamics and function are the Structural maintenance of chromosomes (SMC) complexes. In eukaryotes there are at least three such complexes: cohesin, condensin and SMC5/6 complex. The SMC5/6 complex is involved in diverse mechanisms responsible for the maintenance of post-replicative chromosome structure. Klíčovými regulátory struktury, dynamiky a funkce chromatinu jsou Structural maintenance of chromosomes (SMC) komplexy. U eukaryot existují alespoň tři takové komplexy: kohezin, kondenzin a SMC5/6 komplex. SMC5/6 komplex je zapojen v různých mechanizmech zodpovědných za udržení post-replikativní struktury chromozomu.
