The Use of Slovene and Czech Exonyms for European Toponyms
Abstract:
Práce se věnuje problematice exonym v současné češtině a slovinštině. Představeny jsou základní standardizační příručky pro češtinu a slovinštinu a jazykovědné kategorizace exonym. Součástí práce je výzkum mezi rodilými mluvčími češtiny a slovinštiny, na jehož základě je představena typologie chyb v užívání exonym.
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the question of exonyms in contemporary Czech and Slovene. Basic standardization handbooks for Czech and Slovene are introduced and linguistic categorization of exonyms is described. A research among native speakers of Czech and Slovene is a part of the work, and the author presents a typology of errors in the usage of exonyms based on the research.
