Social transfers and their role in mandatory spending of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Ve své práci nejprve charakterizuji veřejné výdaje včetně mandatorních výdajů, poté se zabývám objemem a strukturou veřejných výdajů České republiky se zaměřením na mandatorní výdaje a systémem sociálního zabezpečení v České republice. Ve své práci dále shrnuji, jaké finanční prostředky byly vynaloženy na vybrané sociální transfery v České republice v letech 2005 - 2009 a jaký měly sociální transfery vliv na mandatorní výdaje. V těchto letech došlo v případě některých sociálních transferů k výrazným změnám v objemu finančních prostředků, které na ně byly vynaloženy. Tyto změny zdůvodňuji a v závěru hodnotím vývoj vybraných sociálních transferů v České republice v letech 2005 - 2009.

Abstract:

In my work at first I characterize the public spending, including mandatory spending, then deal with the volume and structure of public spending of the Czech Republic focusing on mandatory spending and with social security system in the Czech Republic. In my work, then I sum up the funds were spent on selected social transfers in the Czech Republic between 2005 - 2009 and how social transfers impact on mandatory spending. In these years was in the case of some social transfers major changes in the volume of funds spent on them. These changes I justify and finally evaluate the development of selected social transfers in the Czech Republic in 2005 - 2009.
