Household expenses analysis in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem struktury výdajů českých domácností v závislosti na ekonomické situaci v České republice a vybraných typech domácností. V teoretické části jsou za pomoci odborné literatury popsány některé pojmy, které s vývojem spotřeby domácností souvisejí, je vysvětlena metodika výběru Zpravodajských domácností Českým statistickým úřadem a vysvětlena teorie spotřební funkce. Začátek analytické části se zaměřuje na analýzu prostředí ovlivňující spotřebu domácností. Teoretické poznatky týkající se vymezení a klasifikace spotřeby domácností jsou dále využity při sledování vývoje spotřeby v letech 1990-2017. Konkrétní hodnoty těchto ukazatelů jsou vyjádřeny pomocí grafů či tabulek, které jsou nadále podrobeny analýze vývojových tendencí a změně struktury. Dále je posouzen rozdíl ve struktuře a objemu vydání dle vybraných typů domácností, je také nastíněn budoucí vývoj spotřeby českých domácností. Závěr práce je věnován shrnutí analytické části a jejímu zhodnocení.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the development of the structure of expenditures of Czech households depending on the economic situation in the Czech Republic and selected types of households. In the theoretical part, some of the concepts related to the development of household consumption are described with the help of specialized literature. The beginning of the analytical part focuses on the analysis of the environment affecting household consumption. Theoretical knowledge concerning the definition and classification of household consumption is further used in monitoring the development of consumption in 1990-2017. The specific values of these indicators are expressed by graphs or tables, which are still subject to analysis of developmental trends and changes in structure. Furthermore, the difference in structure and volume of expenditures by selected types of households is assessed, and the future development of consumption of Czech households is also outlined. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to a summarizing the analytical part and its evaluation.
