Abstract:
Disertační práce předtavuje Katřinu ze Sieny, středověkou světici, na cestě za kodifikací jejího svatého vzoru. Popisuje nejen okruh těch, kdo při zrodu a zakotvení modelu svatosti stáli, ale soustředí se též na jejich způsoby práce s informací a jejím šířením. Podrobuje samotný svatý vzor detailnímu rozboru a najeho základě pak formuje možnost jeho využití modelu Kateřininy svatosti v aktuálním společenském …more
Abstract:
The study focuses on the medieval saint, Catherine of Siena, and on the proces of codification of her saint example. It examines the circle of those, who created and anchored this model of sanctity as well as their techniques in extending Catherine´s fame. The saintly model of Catherine is analyzed with the special interrest on its function in the actual social context.
