Rodina je základní a nejvýznamnější společenskou jednotkou, jejíž společenský význam je nezastupitelný a jež je z tohoto důvodu pod ochranou státu a chráněna právem. Tato práce se zabývá institutem manželství, a sice jeho vznikem a zánikem, porovnává českou a francouzskou právní úpravu. The family is a fundamental and the most significant social unit with an irreplaceable social importance. That is the reason why it is under the protection of the state and law. This thesis deals with the institution of matrimony, more specifically with its formation and expiration. The work compares the Czech and French legal regulation concerning the institution.
