Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá liečebným a rehabilitačným procesom pacienta po amputácií na dolnej končatine. Prvá, teoretická Všeobecná časť obsahuje definíciu, základné delenie, indikácie, operačné techniky a možné komplikácie amputácií na dolnej končatine a na záver niekoľko informácií o ortopedickej protetike.
