Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Jak se žije na Hlučínsku: případová studie obce Bolatice“ je monografií obce Bolatice. Její jednotlivé části propojuje sociologický koncept identity, tak jak jej chápe konstruktivistická teorie, tedy jako něco konstruovaného v sociálním a historickém kontextu. Nejprve se práce zabývá historickým vývojem Bolatic a to v souvislosti s vývojem regionu Hlučínsko. Oblast Hlučínska byla v roce 1742 odtržena od své původní vlasti a připadla Prusku, v roce 1920 se vrátila zpět a stala se součástí Československé republiky, během druhé světové války připadla Německu a teprve až od roku 1945 se natrvalo vrátila k území našeho státu. Tento vývoj zasáhl také každodenní život obyvatel Bolatic a svou specifičností poznamenal formování jejich identit. V současné době jsou některé aspekty tohoto historického vlivu na identitu stále zřetelné. Dále se proto práce zabývá analýzou hlavních dimenzí současného života občanů Bolatic. Zaměřuje se na oblast politickou, ekonomickou, sociální, kulturní a náboženskou. V poslední části pak ukazuje to, kam dospělo formování identity obyvatel Bolatic. Mezi základní zjištění patří, že současná identita občanů obce je identitou, která reflektuje historii území, identitou místní a regionální, identitou náboženskou, společenskou i identitou současnou. Prostřednictvím těchto zjištění pak práce dospívá k odpovědi na otázku jak se žije na Hlučínsku.

Abstract:

The bachelor’s thesis “How people live in the Hlučínsko region: a case study of the Bolatice community” is a monograph on the Bolatice community. The individual sections connect the sociological concept of identity as understood in the constructivist theory i.e. as something devised in a social and historical context. Foremost, this paper addresses the historical development of Bolatice, particularly in relation to the development of the Hlučínsko region. The Hlučínsko district was separated from its original homeland in 1742 and devolved to Prussia. In 1920 it was returned and formed part of the Czechoslovak Republic. However it fell to Germany during the Second World War and only since 1945 has it been a permanent part of our country. This development has affected the everyday life of the inhabitants of Bolatice and the specificity of this case has made a mark on the formation of their identities. Today certain aspects of this historical impact on their identities are still evident. For that reason this paper then continues to analyse the main dimensions of the present lives of the citizens of the Bolatice community and concentrates on the economic, political, social, cultural and religious sectors. The last section discusses what influence this shaping of the identities has had on the inhabitants of Bolatice. The fundamental discoveries are that the current identity of the inhabitants of the community is an identity which reflects the history of the area, it is a local and regional identity, it is a religious and social identity and a modern identity. By means of these findings this paper reaches a conclusion to the question about life in the Hlučínsko region.
