Solvothermal synthesis of metal phosphates and phosphonates

Abstract:

Teoretická část této diplomové práce shrnuje důležité a zajímavé syntézní postupy vedoucí k fosfátům a fosfonátům hlinitým. Důraz je kladen na takové syntézy, které mohou cíleně řídit strukturu připravených materiálů. Důležitá je zejména jejich dimenzionalita. V experimentální části se práce zaměřuje na zkoumání nových možností sol-gelové syntézy založených na nehydrolytických kondenzačních reakcích vedoucích k fosforečnanům a fosfonátům hlinitým. Byly studovány dva typy eliminačních reakcí, alkoholová a silyletherová, a získané výsledky byly srovnány s již známou silylamidovou eliminací. Druhá část je zaměřena na využití zbytkových skupin na povrchu gelů k post-syntetické modifikaci připravených xerogelů. Zkoumány byly čtyři různé modifikátory, fenyltrichlorsilan, trimethylalan, t-butanol a voda.

Abstract:

Theoretical part of this diploma thesis summarized important and pioneering synthetic processes leading to alumophosphates and alumophosphonates. Emphasis is placed on those synthetic routes, which intentionally control the structure of prepared materials. Especially dimensionalities of synthesized materials are relevant. The experimental part is devoted to exploring new possibilities of sol-gel synthesis based on non-hydrolytic condensation reactions leading to alumophosphonates and alumophosphonates. Two types of sol-gel elimination reactions were studied, alcohol and silylether, and the results were compared with already known silylamide elimination. The second part is focused on utilization of residual groups on the gel surface for post-synthetic modification of prepared xerogels. Four different modifiers were investigated, trichlorophenylsilane, trimethylalane, t-butanol and water.
