Cieľom bakalárskej práce je poukázať na majetok podniku,jeho klasifikáciu, obstarávanie a evidenciu v konkrétnej spoločnosti. V úvode si rozoberieme ciel práce , určíme metodický postup vypracovania. Práca pozostáva z dvoch kapitol, ktoré na seba navzájom nadväzujú. Prvá kapitola definuje majetok, zdroje jeho krytia, obstarávanie a oceňovaniu majetku podniku jeho evidenciu a odpisovaniu.
