Tectonics of Neogeneous rocks from the Southern part of Carpathian Foredeep

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce byl průzkum problematiky tektonického porušení neogenních oblastí v jižní části karpatské předhlubně. Cílem bylo vyhledat výchozy, detailně zpracovat území výchozů a zjistit tektonickou poruchu. Pomocí geologického kompasu se změřilo rýhování a plocha zlomu. Ve většině případech se jednalo o zlomy typu pokles. Naměřená data byla zpracována v programu Spheristat do formy konturových diagramů. Dále pomocí programu MARK2010 byly podle orientací ploch a smyslů pohybu vypočteny směry hlavních normálových napětí. Data se rozdělila do dvou skupin.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis was to survey the problems of tectonics Neogeneous areas in the southern part of the Carpathian foredeep. The aim was to find outcrops, detailed processing and identifiing areas of outcrops with tectonic fault. Orientation of fault surphaces and striations were measured using geological compass. The most cases of faults were normal faults. Measured data were processed in the Spheristat to form of contour diagrams. Furthermore, using program MARK 2010, the main directions of normal tensions were calculated from the orientation of fault-surfaces, striations and senses the movement. The faults were separated into two homogeneous groups.
