This bachelor's thesis analyses the texts and lives of British authors Clive Staples Lewis and John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. The primary focus of this thesis is Christian symbolism in their books and comparison to the Bible, especially to the character of Jesus Christ. Bakalářská práce se zabývá životy a analýzou textů britských autorů Clive Staples Lewis a John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. Primárním zaměřením této práce jsou křesťanská symbolika a jejich porovnávání s Biblí, obzvláště s postavou Ježíše Krista.
