Lipidové složky výživy (zejména esenciální vysoce nenasycené mastné kyseliny (VNMK) a butyrát mohou mít významné účinky na udržování homeostázy v epitelu tlustého střeva (kolonu). Vzájemnou interakcí či interakcí s endogenními regulátory (cytokiny) mohou ovlivňovat proliferaci, diferenciaci a apoptózu v této tkáni a podílet se na rozvoji zánětlivých a nádorových onemocnění. Lipid nutrition components (especially essential polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) and butyrate can have considerable effects for maintenance homeostasis in colon epithelium. Mutual interaction or interaction with endogennous regulators (cytokines) can affect proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis in this tissue and they can participate in development of inflammatory and tumor diseases.
