Income statement according to the nature and to the function

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o výkazu zisku a ztráty v druhovém a účelovém členění. Práce je rozčleněna na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část seznamuje čtenáře s platnou českou legislativou. Pozornost je věnována jednotlivým účetním výkazům a jejich vypovídací schopnosti pro uživatele. Poslední kapitola teoretické části se podrobněji věnuje druhovému a účelovému členění nákladů. Nastíněn je provozní cyklus ve finančním účetnictví a problematika zajištění věcné srovnatelnosti nákladů a výnosů v návaznosti na finanční analýzu podniku. Praktická část analyzuje výkaz zisku a ztráty v druhovém členění vybraného podniku na dílčí analytické náklady. Cílem této bakalářské práce je, pomocí rozboru nákladů na analytické účty, sestavení výkazu zisku a ztráty v účelovém členění. Závěr práce shrnuje praktickou část a uvádí několik podnětů zvýhodňujících účelové členění výkazu zisku a ztráty nad druhovým členěním.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the income statement according to the nature and to the function. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part acquaints the reader with the Czech applicable legislation. Attention is paid to the individual financial statements and their explanatory ability for users. The last chapter of the theoretical section deals with the classification of cost by function and nature in deeper detail. The operating cycle in the financial accounting and the issue of ensuring the substantive comparability of expenses and revenues following the financial analysis of the company is outlined. The practical part analyses the income statement according to the nature of the selected company in to the partial analytical expenses. The expenses analysis of the analytical accounts is subsequently used for setting up the income statement according to the function, which is the aim of the bachelor thesis The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the practical part and presents several initiatives favoring the classification of cost by function of the income statement over the classification of cost by nature.
