Abstract:
The aim of the suggested diploma thesis is the synthesis and characterization of covalently functionalized nitrogen doped and carboxylated graphene derivatives from commercial graphite fluoride. Different degrees of functionalization (and thus hydrophilicities) and possibly different sizes of the obtained graphene sheets will be pursued.
