The Use of the Feast Tradition in Art Activities for Children of Preschool Age

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce teoreticko-aplikačního charakteru se zabývá využitím hodové tradice ve výtvarné činnosti u dětí předškolního věku. Cílem práce je představit konkrétní možnosti uplatnění této tradice v prostředí mateřské školy. Teoretická část pojednává o hodové tradici, lidové tradici a výtvarné činnosti ve vztahu k dětem předškolního věku a předškolnímu vzdělávání. Vpraktické části je zpracována sada aktivit. Jejím cílem bylo přiblížit dětem hodovou tradici vobci, ve které se mateřská škola nachází, a podpořit tak u dětí její porozumění, přijetí i upevnění vztahu kmístu, kde děti žijí a uvědomění si sounáležitosti s druhými lidmi. Zvolené metody evaluace byly vlastní reflexe, analýza příprav ředitelkou mateřské školy, etnografkou a pozorování učitelkami mateřské školy. Na základě výsledků získaných při evaluaci bylo vypracováno doporučení pro praxi mateřských škol.

Abstract:

The theoretical-application thesis deals with the use of feast traditions in art activities for preschool children. The aim of the thesis is to present particular possibilities of applying this tradition in the kindergarten environment. The theoretical part deals with the feast tradition, folk tradition and art activities in relation to preschool children and preschool education. In the practical part a set of activities is developed. The aim was to introduce the children to the feast tradition in the village where the kindergarten is located, thus promoting the children's understanding, acceptance and strengthening their relationship with the place where they live and their sense of community. The chosen evaluation methods included self-reflection, analysis of the preparations by the kindergarten director, ethnographic analysis, and observations by the kindergarten teachers. Based on the evaluation results, recommendations for kindergarten practice were developed.
