Rostliny rodu Arctium jsou především známé díky svým farmakologickým účinkům. Rostliny vykazují protirakovinné, antidiabetické, antioxidační, protizánětlivé, antimikrobiální a antivirové aktivity díky přítomnosti velkého množství různých specializovaných metabolitů. Abstract:
Plants of the genus Arctium are mainly known for their pharmacological effects. The plants exhibit anticancer, antidiabetic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antiviral activities due to the presence of a large number of different specialized metabolites.
