Finite groups of small orders

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje teorii grup, konkrétně konečným grupách malých řádů. První kapitola obsahuje základy v podobě binárních operací, po nichž ve druhé kapitole následují základní algebraické struktury, mezi které patří i grupy. Kapitola třetí hovoří o grupách symetrií základních geometrických obrazců. Čtvrtá kapitola pak seznamuje s pojmy homomorfismus a izomorfismus grup. Poslední a zároveň nejrozsáhlejší je pátá kapitola, která se věnuje hlavnímu tématu, tedy konečným grupám malých řádů, což znamená řád nanejvýš 15. Kromě postupů, jak je najít, zde čtenář najde i sestrojené operační tabulky.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is devoted to group theory, specifically to finite groups of small orders. The first chapter contains the basics like binary operations, followed by basic algebraic structures, including groups, in the second chapter. The third chapter talks about groups of symmetries of basic geometric shapes. The fourth chapter introduces the concepts of homomorphism and isomorphism of groups. The last and at the same time the most extensive chapter is the fifth chapter, which deals with the main topic, i.e. finite groups of small orders, which means order at most 15. In addition to the procedures for finding them, the reader will also find here the constructed operational tables.
