Complex Hospital Care for Septic Patient in Intensive Care Department

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je "Komplexní ošetřovatelská péče o septického pacienta na oddělení intenzivní péče". Sepse patří mezi jeden z nejčastějších a nejzákeřnějších problé-mů současné resuscitační a intenzivní péče a její podíl na mortalitě je vysoký. Proto je dů-leţité včas zahájit správnou léčbu a ošetřovatelskou péči, a také je velmi podstatná mezio-borová spolupráce, neboť sepse je velice rozmanitý pojem. Teoretická část se zabývá definicí sepse a jejich příbuzných pojmů. Také uvádí etiologii, patogenezi, diagnostiku, léčbu a celkovou komplexní ošetřovatelskou péči o septického pacienta. Praktická část obsahuje kazuistiky čtyř pacientů hospitalizovaných na oddělení ARO, kdy u kaţdého z nich došlo ke vzniku sepse z jiné příčiny. Přiblíţíme a poukáţeme na rozdíly medicínských postupů, ale i na odlišnosti při poskytování ošetřovatelské péče. V praktické části uvádíme statistické zpracování dat, která poukazují na rozmanitost příčin vzniku sepse u pacientů na anesteziologicko-resuscitačním oddělení ve Vsetíně od roku 2009 aţ do roku 2013.

Abstract:

The theme of the bachelor thesis is "Comprehensive nursing care for septic patient in inte-sive care units". Sepsi sis among one of the most common and insidious problems of mo-dern resuscitation and intensive care, and its share of the mortality is high. Therefore i tis importatnt to promptly initiate the proper treatment and nursing care, and also the interdis-ciplinary cooperation is very importatnt, because sepsi sis a very diverse concept. The theoretical part deal with the definition of sepsis and its related concepts. It also pre-sents the aetiology,pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, and total comprehensive nursing care for septic patient. The practical part contains four case reports of patients hospitalized in Ward of Anaesthe-siology and Resuscitation. When the sepsi sarose from other causes, in each of them. We also explain and highlight the differences in medical procedures, but also the differences in the provision of nursing care. In the practical part, we also present the statistacal processing of data that point to a variety of cause of the sepsis emergence in patients on the Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation Ward in Vsetin from 2009 until 2013.
