Slang of Dog Shows

Abstract:

Diplomová práce zkoumá slangové výrazy užívané v prostředí psích výstav. První část vymezuje předmět výzkumu, jeho cíl a metody, stanovuje hypotézy. Druhá část teoreticky pohlíží na pojem slang, v další části jsou pak popsány slovotvorné a neslovotvorné postupy a způsoby. Čtvrtý a poslední part teoretické části práce vysvětluje základní pojmy spjaté s kynologií a psími výstavami. Praktická část diplomové práce se zabývá výsledky výzkumu, které obsahují rozbor získaných slangismů, které jsou jazykově, významově a systémově analyzovány. V závěru je uveden abecedně řazený slovník 437 pojmů.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with slang of dog shows. At the first part, there are a subject and goals of the survey and the methods enabling the gathering of languague material; hypotheses are described there as well. The second part explains notions as slang, then the ways of wordformation are mentioned there. The last theoretical part deals with the basic notions of cynology and dog shows. The practical part shows the result of the survey, including the linguistic and system analysis and meaning of the gathered words. Eventually, there is an alphabeticaly arranged dictionary of 437 slang words.
