Odds betting

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou kurzového sázení. Cílem práce je seznámit čtenáře s fungováním sázkových kanceláří, tvorbou kurzů, obecně se sázkařským prostředím a s předpoklady pro to, stát se úspěšným sázkařem. Dalším z cílů je otestovat vybrané sázkařské strategie a zjistit, zda se z nich dá dlouhodobě profitovat. V teoretické části jsou představeny některé sázkařské strategie a předpoklady pro to, stát se úspěšným sázkařem. V praktické části ukazuji pomocí simulace pravděpodobnou nefunkčnost ruletové strategie martingale a poté testuji vybrané strategie na reálných fotbalových výsledcích. Práce může také sloužit jako jednoduchý návod na tvorbu sázkařských analýz a jejich vyhodnocení. Výsledky práce ukazují, že pravděpodobně neexistuje žádný zaručený způsob, jak profitovat z kurzového sázení, avšak je možné informace v této práci využít k získání určité výhody ve výběru sázkařských příležitostí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with problematics of odds betting. The goal of this thesis is to inform the reader about betting shops, betting environment and basic hypothesis about how to became a successful person in betting. The other goal is to test selected betting strategies and figure out if it is possible to make long-term profit from odds betting. In the theoretical part I show the probable dysfunction of the roulette strategy called martingale. Then I test selected betting strategies on real football results. The thesis may also be used as some kind of simple manual about how to make betting analysis and getting the results from them. The results of this work show that there is probably no guaranteed way how to make profit from odds betting but I think that this thesis can be used to gain some advantages in the betting environment.
