A Violinist in the Orchestra
Abstract:
Diplomová práce „Orchestrální hra z pohledu houslisty“ pojednává o náplni práce hráče – houslisty – v symfonickém orchestru. Zabývá se nejen konkrétní smyčcovou skupinou, ale i celkovým chodem orchestrálního tělesa včetně sociálního aspektu a různých „nepsaných pravidel“. Dále se zaměřuje především na povinnosti samotného hráče a rozdílnosti mezi houslovou hrou sólovou a orchestrální.
Abstract:
Diploma thesis „A Violinist in the Orchestra” deals with job duties of a player – a violinist – in the symphony orchestra. It focuses not only on the violin group, but also on the orchestra as a whole, including social aspects and „unwritten rules“. It covers mainly responsibilities of the violinist and explores the discrepancies between solo instrumental training and orchestra playing.
