Design, development and implementation of a modular robotic arm

Abstract:

Tato práce bude navazovat na mou předcházející práci bakalářskou práci, jejíž cílem bylo vytvoření modulárního robotického ramene. Bude se snažit posunout stávající vytvořené koncepty a řešit problémy a nedostatky, které byly během vývoje objeveny. Hlavní důraz bude kladen na praktickou část a reálně ověřené výsledky. Cílem mé práce je tak eliminovat všechny kritické oblasti jako např. otázku zpětné vazby, slabší výkon a komplexnost kontroly a dosáhnout tak pokročilejší podoby ramene. Používat budu především metody 3D tisku s pomocí Fusion 360 pro vývoj konstrukce a jazyky Python a MicroPython.

Abstract:

Thesis follows up my previous Bachelor's thesis, whose objective was the creation of a modular robotic arm. The idea behind is to advance the current concepts and solve the problems and shortcomings that have been found during the development. The main focus is going to be on the practical part and the real tests and verifications of my findings. The goal of my thesis is to eliminate all the critical fields, such as absence of closed-loop mechanism, weak torque, and complexity of the controls, and therefore to achieve the advanced form of the arm. I am planning to use methods of 3D printing with the help of Fusion 360 software to create the mechanical parts hand in hand the Python and MicroPython languages.
