Jistým specifikem české krajiny je přítomnost drobných památek, jejichž vznik je spjat s působením křesťanské víry. Tato práce se snaží objasnit důvody jejich vzniku, zasadit je do kontextu historických událostí, popsat jejich typologii a také jejich místo v oboru památkové péče.
