The aim of the first part of the work is to summarize morfosyntactic, linguistic and rhetorical characteristics which may occur in the advertising texts. The second part examines texts of the particular advertisements of the cosmetic products for men and for women. Cílem první části této práce je shrnout morfosyntaktické, jazykové a rétorické vlastnosti, které se mohou vyskytovat v reklamních textech. Druhá část studuje texty konkrétních reklam na kosmetické přípravky pro muže a pro ženy.
