The BYOD Concept in Small and Medium Sized Companies

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá koncepcí BYOD (Bring Your Own Device neboli přines si své vlastní zařízení) v malých a středních firmách. V teoretické části je jako první krátce zmíněn vývoj tohoto konceptu, v dalších kapitolách se práce věnuje problematice vlastnictví zařízení, přístupu manažerů k BYOD, přínosům a rizikům konceptu BYOD a jejich možným protiopatřením, v poslední kapitole teoretické části jsou zmíněny právní aspekty BYOD. V praktické části se práce zaobírá zhodnocením současného stavu konceptu BYOD na území ČR, toto hodnocení je zpracováno formou ankety. Další část je věnována analyzování přínosnosti tohoto konceptu, poslední část práce se zabývá návrhem varianty řešení BYOD v malých a středních firmách.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the concept of BYOD in small and medium-sized companies. The first part of theoretical work briefly mentions the development of this concept, in the next chapters of this work is described the issue of equipment ownership, managers' approach to BYOD, benefits and risks of the BYOD concept and their possible countermeasures, the last chapter of the theoretical part mentions the legal aspects of BYOD. In the practical part is evaluated the current state of the BYOD concept in the Czech Republic, this evaluation is processed in the form of a questionnaire survey. The next part is devoted to analysing the benefits of this concept, the last part develops the design of a specific BYOD solutions in small and medium-sized companies.
