Interbank Payment Systems and their Legal Framework

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Mezibankovní platební systémy a jejich právní regulace“ se zabývá mezibankovními platebními systémy na vnitrostátní, celosvětové a evropské úrovni. Cílem práce je průzkum ekonomické podstaty a právních rámců uvedených mezibankovních platebních systémů. V první části je podrobně prozkoumán hotovostní a bezhotovostní platební styk. Práce také zahrnuje vývoj mezibankovních platebních systémů na našem území od vzniku Československé republiky v roce 1918. Práce upozorňuje i na nový trend, kterým jsou elektronické platební systémy. Poslední část analyzuje relevantní právní úpravu platebního styku.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis „Interbank Payment Systems and their Legal Framework“ is focused on interbank payment systems at national, global and European level. The aim of the thesis is to research the economic substance and legal frameworks for the aforementioned interbank payment systems. The first part of the thesis concentrates on cash and cashless payments. The thesis also includes the development of interbank payment systems in our country since the establishment of the Czechoslovakia in 1918. The thesis highlights a new trend which are electronic payment systems. The last part of the thesis analyzes the relevant legislation of bank payment.
