Tourist motivations in selected forms of tourism

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá zjišťováním motivací turistů ve vybraných typech cestovního ruchu. Byl zvolen lovecký cestovní ruch, turismus zaměřený na sledování ptactva, fototuristika, cestovní ruch zaměřený na geocaching a cestovní ruch zaměřený na Pokémon go. Tyto formy cestovního ruchu jsou spojeny určitou formou lovu a sběrem trofejí. Cílem této práce bylo zjistit motivace českých turistů v rámci jednotlivých typů cestovního ruchu a posléze jejich porovnání. Odpovědi byly získávány prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření. Pro lovecký turismus nebylo nasbíráno dostatek odpovědí, a proto součástí práce nejsou výsledky dotazníkového šetření zaměřené na tuto formu turismu. Nejpodstatnějšími objevenými motivacemi českých turistů věnujících se zkoumaným formám cestovního ruchu, byly novost, relaxace, fyzická aktivita a nostalgie. Přestože byl pro většinu účastníků šetření jejich koníček důležitý a chtěli se mu na dovolené věnovat, cíl cesty často volili spíše s ohledem na atraktivitu destinace. U mužů měla při výběru dovolené větší váhu motivace doplňování sbírky a nostalgie, zatímco ženy více preferovaly pobyt v přírodě, společnost blízkých a sdílení zážitků.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on finding out new motivations in hunting tourism, birdwatching tourism, photo tourism and tourism concerning geocaching and Pokemon go. These forms of tourism connect some sort of hunting and gathering trophies. Aim of the thesis was to discover motivation of Czech tourist in these forms of tourism and compare the motivations with each other. The answers were gathered through questionnaire survey. Unfortunately for the hunting tourism number of acquired answers wasn’t sufficient. The most significant motivations discovered were novelty, relaxation, physical activity, and nostalgia. Also, monuments, nature and other aspects of destination was proven to be important. Men are especially motivated more by gathering collection or nostalgia, women on the other hand, are enjoying nature, company of others and sharing of the experience.
