Prevention of environmental mastitis in dairy cows

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce „Prevence vzniku environmentálních mastitid u dojnic“ se zabývá předcházením vzniku mastitid v chovu mléčného skotu, které jsou způsobeny environmentálními patogeny. Zaměřila jsem se na zpracování literární rešerše zabývající se vlivem prostředí na zdraví dojnic. Úvodem se tato práce zabývá morfologií a fyziologií mléčné žlázy, laktogenezí a laktací a následně ejekcí samotného mléka. Stručně je zde popsáno kravské mléko a jeho složení, dále význam somatických buněk a jejich stanovení. Dále je zde kapitola pojednávající obecně o mastitidách, jejich rozdělení, základní charakteristika a nejčastější původci kontagiózních mastitid. Následuje hlavní kapitola o environmentálních mastitidách, kde popisuji důležitost technologie chovu a zoohygieny a případné vakcinace dojnic. Na konci bakalářské práci popisuji základní postupy v prevenci a nejčastější metody prevence a dále návrh metodiky pro následné rozpracování diplomové práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis „Prevention of environmental mastitis in dairy cows" deals with the prevention of problems in dairy cattle breeding. I focused on processing a literature search dealing with the impact of the environment on the health of dairy cows. In the beginning, this work deals with the morphology and physiology of the mammary gland, lactogenesis and lactation, and subsequent ejection of the milk itself. Briefly, cow's milk and its composition are described here, as well as the importance of somatic cells and their determination. Furthermore, there is a chapter dealing in general with mastitis, their distribution, basic characteristics, and the most common causes of contagious mastitis. The following is the main chapter on environmental mastitis, where I describe the importance of breeding technology and zoo hygiene, and the possible vaccination of dairy cows. At the end of the bachelor's thesis, I describe the basic procedures in prevention and the most common methods of prevention, as well as the design of a methodology for the subsequent elaboration of a diploma thesis.
