Lišejníky, unikátní symbiotické spojení houby a řasy nebo sinice schopné přežívat i ve velmi nehostinných podmínkách, vděčí za odolnost řadě ochranných mechanismů. Lichens are the unique symbiosis of fungus and alga or cyanobacteria. Thanks to variety of protective mechanisms, they are able to survive even at very bleak environment conditions. These conclude production of secondary compounds protecting lichens to e.g. UV doses, herbivory, bacterias and oxidative stress affection.
