Elizabeth Bathory in Historical Reality and The Slovak Film and Literary Reflections
Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with the historical figure of Hungarian Countess Elizabeth Bathory and her contradictory representation in Slovak art production. This fundamentally different approach is, at first, presented in selected publications dedicated to Bathory. Magisterská diplomová práca sa zaoberá historickou postavou uhorskej grófky Alžbety Báthoryovej a jej protikladným zobrazením v slovenskej tvorbe. Tento diametrálne odlišný prístup najprv priblíži vo vybraných publikáciách venujúcich sa Báthoryovej.
