Lisbon treaty and the EU institutional reform

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá Lisabonskou smlouvou. Popisuje hlavni institucionální změny orgánů Evropské unie. Zaměřuje se na historii evropské integrace po 2. světové válce. Popisuje vývoj zakládacích smluv Evropského společenství a Evropské unie. Bakalářská práce věnuje pozornost ratifikačnímu procesu Lisabonské smlouvy v České republice. Charakterizuje právní subjektivitu Evropské unie a reformu institucionálního rámce Unie po přijetí Lisabonské smlouvy. V neposlední řadě se práce zabývá reformou legislativním procesem Evropské unie.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the Lisbon Treaty. It describes the main institutional changes of the EU institutions. It focuses on the history of European integration after the 2nd World War. Describes the development of the founding treaties of the European Community and the European Union. The thesis deals with the ratification process of the Lisbon Treaty in the Czech Republic. Furthermore it focuses on the legal status of the European Union and the EU institutional framework reform after the Lisbon Treaty ratification. The thesis describes the reform of the legislative process of the European Union.
