Design and implementation of the information system for paid education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je věnovaná problematice tvorby komplexního systému, který si klade za cíl rozšířit bakalářskou práci o komplexní automatizované propojení informačního systému se systémem LMS Moodle. Systém bude automatizovaně vytvářet kurzy v LMS Moodle, do kterých bude současně zapisovat účastníky a vedoucí celého kurzu. Následně se diplomová práce věnuje problematice BI, která má za účel podpořit manažerská rozhodnutí napříč celým komplexním systémem. Na začátku práce je provedena rozsáhlá rešeršní analýza současných systémů, jestli neexistuje již hotové řešení. Analýzou byly zjištěny důležité nedostatky všech systémů, které díky těmto nedostatkům nemohou být využity pro splnění cílů celé práce. Následně je popisován teoretický návrh celého systému a postup jeho návrhu, jelikož žádný komplexní systém zatím neexistuje, proto je tato část velmi důležitá pro splnění a správné fungování celého systému. Předposlední bod je realizace vlastního navrženého řešení, kde popisuji metodiku vývoje a realizaci celého komplexního systému. V závěru práce hodnotím dosažené cíle a jeho potencionální přínos pro uživatele celého systému.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is dedicated to the creation of a complex system which aims to extend the bachelor thesis with a complex automated connection of the information system with the LMS Moodle. This system will automatically create courses in LMS Moodle and enroll the participants and the course leader. In the next part, the thesis deals with the BI which aims to support the manager decisions across the entire complex system. The thesis begins with an extensive analysis of current systems to find out if there already exists an implemented solution. This analysis identified important drawbacks of all systems which meant none of them could be used to accomplish the thesis goals. Then the theoretical design of the system and the design process are described. Since there is no complex system yet, this part is very important for accomplishing the thesis goals and the correct function of the whole system. The last chapter is focused on implementation of the designed solution where I describe the development methodology and implementation of the entire complex system. In the conclusion of the thesis I evaluate accomplished goals and its potential benefit for the system's users.
