Vegetational altitudinal tiers of mountains of the Tropic and Subtropic zones

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá vegetační stupňovitostí v horách tropů a subtropů světa. První část práce obecně popisuje problematiku vegetačních stupňů, geobiomů a horského prostředí. V další části práce jsou popsány jednotlivé výškové vegetační stupně reprezentativních pohoří tropů a subtropů světa, s důrazem popisu rostlinných a živočišných druhů. Práce je doplněna schématickými profily jednotlivých pohoří a mapami s vyznačením vegetační stupňovitosti. Ve své závěrečné části práce popisuje možné využití tématu v pedagogické praxi.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on vegetational zonality in tropical and subtropical mountain ranges of the world. The first part of this thesis generally describes the problematic of the vegetational zonality, geobioms and mountain range environment. The next part describes individual altitude vegetational zones of the representative tropical and subtropical mountain ranges, especially concentrating on the description of the species of fauna and flora. The work is supplemented by schematic profiles of individual mountain ranges and maps with marked vegetational zones. The final part of the work deals with the possible implementation of this topic into pedagogical practice.
