Regional differentiation in foreign trade of Spain

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá diferenciací v zahraničním obchodu na úrovni jednotlivých autonomních oblastí Španělska. Hlavním cílem práce je odhalit zahraničněobchodní odlišnosti mezi těmito regiony a zjistit, do jaké míry byl jejich zahraniční obchod ovlivněn socioekonomickými předpoklady. První kapitola se věnuje teorii zahraničního obchodu a platební bilance. Dále rozebírá obecnou i zahraničněobchodní charakteristiku Španělska. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na zhodnocení socioekonomických indikátorů jako je sektorová zaměstnanost, míra nezaměstnanosti, HDP na hlavu a sektorové HDP. Poslední kapitola analyzuje zahraniční obchod významných regionu podle podílu vývozu na regionálním HDP, obchodní bilance, zbožové struktury a teritoriální struktury. Zároveň propojuje tyto informace se socioekonomickým prostředím.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with differentiation in foreign trade at the level of individual autonomous communities of Spain. The main aim of the thesis is to identify foreign trade differences between these regions and to what extent their foreign trade was influenced by socio-economic conditions. The first chapter focuses on the theory of foreign trade and balance of payments. It also analyzes the general and foreign trade characteristics of Spain. The second chapter deals with the evaluation of socio-economic indicators such as sector employment, unemployment rate, GDP per capita and sector GDP. The last chapter analyzes foreign trade of important regions according to the the share of exports in regional GDP, trade balance, commodity structure and territorial structure. It also links this information to the socio-economic environment.
