Abstract:

Tato absolventská práce se zabývá a přibližuje aktivizaci seniorů v domově pro seniory s cílem zjistit, jakou roli zastává aktivizace v domově pro seniory, a jaký přínos má aktivizace pro seniory. V teoretické části jsou podrobně vysvětleny základní pojmy spojené se stářím a stárnutím, vymezením pojmu „senior“, samotnou aktivizací, rolí aktivizačního pracovníka, motivací a jednotlivými aktivizačními činnostmi, jako je ergoterapie, muzikoterapie, arteterapie, zooterapie, reminiscenční terapii a trénink paměti. V praktické části této absolventské práce, která využívá kvalitativní výzkumnou metodu formou rozhovorů, zjišťuji, jak probíhá a jaký má vliv aktivizace na seniory v domově pro seniory a její přínos pro tyto klienty. V praktické části jsou analyzovány čtyři hlavní oblasti: trávení volného času, motivace a účast na aktivizačních činnostech, četnost aktivizací a vnímání aktivizačních činností.

Abstract:

This graduate thesis examines and presents the activation of the elderly in a home for the elderly, with the aim of finding out what role activation plays in a home for the elderly, and what the benefits of activation are for the elderly. The theoretical part explains in detail the basic concepts related to old age and aging, the definition of the term "senior", the activation itself, the role of the activation worker, motivation and the different activation activities such as occupational therapy, music therapy, art therapy, zootherapy, reminiscence therapy and memory training. In the practical part of this graduate thesis, which uses a qualitative research method in the form of interviews, I find out how activation takes place and how it affects and benefits the elderly clients in a nursing home. The practical part analyses four main areas: leisure time, motivation and participation in activation activities, frequency of activation and perceptions of activation activities.
