Rostliny rodu Orobanche jsou využívány v lidovém léčitelství a u mnoha z nich byly prokázány farmakologické účinky (O. rapum-genistae, O. crenata, O. hederae atd.). Z obsahových látek jsou v rámci celého rodu významné především fenylethanoidní a fenylpropanoidní deriváty s významnou antioxidační a antiflogistickou aktivitou. Abstract:
Plants of Orobanche genus are used in traditional medicine and in lots of them pharmacological effects were approved (O. rapum-genistae, O. crenata, O. hederae etc.). Important secondary metabolites of this genus are phenylethanoid and phenylpropanoid derivatives with significant antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity.
