Předmětem diplomové práce je etymologický výklad staročeských názvů nadpřirozených bytostí a jejich porovnání s novou češtinou. Úvodní kapitola je vhledem do historických souvislostí týkajících se zrodu představ o magii ve světě, tedy i nadpřirozených bytostí, a jejich proměnách v průběhu času. The aim of this thesis is an etymological explanation of names of supernatural beings in the Old Czech language and their comparison with those in modern Czech.
