Freelancing in these days

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je freelancing, tedy podnikání na volné noze. V teoretické části jsou definovány související pojmy i freelancing samotný. Popsány jsou důvody k přechodu na volnou nohu, související výhody i nevýhody. Dále jsou osvětleny nejčastější mýty a také jsou představeny možnosti freelancingu v marketingovém oboru. Provedena je analýza čtyř výzkumů zabývajících se tímto tématem, na jejímž základě jsou stanoveny okruhy pro vlastní výzkum. Jeho metodologie je popsána v úvodu praktické části. Kvalitativní výzkum je realizován pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s celkem 13 respondenty. Zabývá se popisem nejvýznamnějších problémů, se kterými se freelanceři setkávají, a přístupy k jejich řešení. Představena je také případová studie detailně popisující cestu jedné z respondentek. Získané poznatky poslouží především začínajícím freelancerům, pro které jsou na závěr práce zprostředkovány konkrétní rady.

Abstract:

Topic of this diploma thesis is freelancing, which means to work as an independent professional. Connected terms and freelancing itself are defined in the theoretical part, as well as reasons to become freelancer, and related advantages and disadvantages. There are also several myths busted, followed by presenting opportunities for freelancing in the marketing field. Author analysed four research about this topic and based on them defined subjects for the own research. The methodology is described in the beginning of the practical part. The qualitative research is realised by semistructured interviews with 13 respondents. It's goal is to get details about significant problems that are freelancers facing and ways how to deal with them. There is also case study following the way of one respondent. Results of the research are beneficial especially for freelance beginners, whom are addressed advice at the end.
