Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá hodnotou vybraných škůdců z čeledi Aphididae a intragildové kořisti jako potravy pro pavouky druhu Philodromus cespitum a samotným významem využití biologické ochrany v lesnictví.Celý experiment byl rozdělen do dvou částí. Nejdříve byli zkoumáni juvenilní jedinci, kteří byli rozděleni do čtyř skupin podle typu stravy. Následně u nich bylo zkoumáno několik ekologických fitness charakteristik – hmotnost, počet svleků a mortalita. V druhé části experimentu byly pozorovány spářené samice pavouků stejného druhu, které byly rozděleny do tří skupin. Kromě fitness charakteristik, jako hmotnost a mortalita, u nich byla hodnocena především plodnost. Součástí typů kořisti byli menší pavouci jiných druhů a vybrané mšice několika druhů, jakožto škůdci hospodářsky významných dřevin. Po ukončení pozorování byly všechny výsledky zhodnoceny pomocí statistických analýz.Hlavním smyslem realizace těchto experimentů bylo zjištění, který typ stravy těmto arborikolním predátorům vyhovuje nejvíce, resp. která kořist je pro ně nutričně nejhodnotnější a zda tak mají tito pavouci potenciál v biologickém boji proti mšicím. Dle výsledků je zřejmé, že vybrané mšice mají pro pavouky druhu Philodromus cespitum jako potrava, z hlediska většiny fitness ukazatelů, dostatečně nutričně kvalitní hodnotu. Mortalita byla prokazatelně nižší u jedinců, u kterých byla mšice součástí potravy. Stejně tak byl u těchto jedinců rychlejší vývoj. Pavouci tohoto druhu, proto mají potenciál jako biokontrolní činitelé.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the value of selected pests of the group Aphididae and intraguild spider prey as source of food for the spider Philodromus cespitum in order to evaluate its biocontrol potential in forestry.The whole experiment was divided into two parts. In the first part, juvenile spiders were examined, and they were divided into four groups according to the type of their diet. Subsequently, several fitness indicators were examined – weight, development and mortality. In the second part of the experiment, mated females were observed. In this case, individuals were divided into three groups. In addition to fitness indicators, such as weight and mortality, they were evaluated primarily by fecundity. The types of prey included smaller spiders of other species and selected aphids that pests of significant tree species in forestry.The results showed that the selected aphids were, in terms of most fitness characteristics, of relatively good nutritional quality for the spider P. cespitum. Mortality was demonstrably lower and development faster in individuals that were fed with the diets that included aphids than in the individuals fed by the pure spider diet. The spider P. cespitum therefore have a potential as biocontrol agent of aphid pests in forestry.
