Transport externalities in the munipality of Probostov

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zaměřuje na dopravní externality. Jako zájmové území, ve kterém je tento jev sledován, je zvolena obec Proboštov. Cílem diplomové práce je shrnout dosavadní poznatky o dopravních externalitách. Dalším cílem diplomové práce je pokusit se zmapovat a vyčíslit dopravní externality v modelovém území práce (obec Proboštov). V práci je zjištěno vnímání dopravy obyvateli obce za pomoci rozhovorů a dotazníkového šetření. K naplněním cílů práce dále směřuje praktická část, kde mezi sledované jevy patří statistické vyhodnocení nehod v obci, vzniklá hmotná škoda a škoda na vozidlech. Dále se práce zaměřuje na sledování kongesce. Posledním sledovaným jevem je snaha zohlednit zábor půd dopravou ve sledovaném území, kde klíčovým zdrojem dat o půdách je tvořen BPEJ katalogem poskytovaný Státním pozemkovým úřadem.

Abstract:

The present thesis focuses on transport externalities. The municipality of Proboštov is chosen as the area of interest in which this phenomenon is observed. The aim of the thesis is to summarize the existing knowledge about traffic externalities. Another objective of the thesis is to try to map and quantify the traffic externalities in the model area of the thesis (the municipality of Proboštov). In the thesis, the perception of traffic by the inhabitants of the village is determined using interviews and a questionnaire survey. The practical part of the thesis aims at fulfilling the objectives of the thesis, where the observed phenomena include statistical evaluation of accidents in the village, material damage and damage to vehicles. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the monitoring of congestion. The last phenomenon monitored is the effort to take into account the land occupation by traffic in the study area, where the key source of data soils is formed by the BPEJ catalogue provided by the Czech State Land Office.
