Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá pojetím člověka v tzv. útěšných spisech Jana Amose Komenského, které jsou výrazem hlubokého zoufalství a beznaděje, do nichž byl uvržen po porážce českého stavovského povstání. První kapitola pojednává o člověku jako tvoru společenském. Vychází ze spisku předbělohorské doby, Listové do nebe, který reaguje na soudobou sociální problematiku společnosti, primárně nerovnost mezi lidmi. Druhá kapitola tematizuje člověka jakožto hříšníka a smrtelníka vrženého do světa, kde převládá marnost a trápení. Člověk se potýká nejen se svou smrtelností, ale také svých blízkých, a tím pádem i sirobou, která ho zasahuje ve chvíli, kdy své milované ztrácí. Dokonalým a bezpečným útočištěm se mu stává Bůh. Třetí kapitola se zabývá člověkem jakožto poutníkem labyrintem světa, který se navrací do ráje srdce. Zaměřuje se na motiv odvratu od světa. Čtvrtá kapitola zachycuje člověka mezi vírou a rozumem. Člověk v pozici Truchlivého ve stejnojmenném dialogu ztělesňuje zoufalství a bolest. Hledá ztracenou naději, jistotu a bezpečí skrze cestu k Bohu. Poslední kapitola představuje člověka jakožto imago Dei, který zastává pozici prostředníka mezi Bohem a světem. Tematizován je také např. motiv rezignace, či Komenským zavedené pojmy samosvojnosti a jinudosti, které souvisejí s vystoupením z božího centra.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the conception of man in the so-called Consolatory writings of John Amos Comenius, which are an expression of the deep despair and hopelessness, into which he was thrown after the defeat of Bohemian-Estates Revolt. The first chapter deals with man as a social creature. It is based on a writing of the Pre-White Mountain period, Letters to Heaven, which responds to contemporary social issues of a society, primarily an inequality between people. The second chapter themes man as a sinner and mortal thrown into a world where vanity and suffering prevail. Man struggles not only with his mortality, but also with his loved ones, and thus with the orphanhood (state of "poor people") that strikes him when he loses his loved ones. God becomes his perfect and safe haven. The third chapter deals with man as a pilgrim through the labyrinth of the world, which returns to the paradise of the heart. It focuses on the motive of turning away from the world. The fourth chapter depicts man between faith and reason. Man, in the position of Mournful, embodies despair and pain in the dialogue of the same name. He seeks lost hope, certainty and safety through the path to God. The last chapter presents man as imago Dei, who holds the position of mediator between God and the world. There are also themed e.g. the motive of resignation or Comenius's established concepts "samosvojnost" and "jinudost" related to the exit from the centre of God.
