Position of the maternal centre in the social work system

Abstract:

Klíčovým tématem této diplomové práce nazvané "Postavení mateřských center v systému sociální práce" je preprimární vzdělávání a sociální služby poskytované předškolním dětem se somatickým, psychických a sociálním znevýhodněním spolu se specifiky vzdělávací činnosti s nimi v prostředí mateřského centra. Teoretická východiska práce jsou zaměřena na historii, význam a působnost mateřských center. Konkretizuje podporu a pomoc rodinám s handicapovanými dětmi, vyzdvihuje služby Mateřského centra Klubíčko lokalizované v okrese Most. Praktická část se opírá o výzkumné šetření realizované formou řízených rozhovorů s vybranými členy centra. Závěr je věnován společenské potřebnosti daného centra a jeho budoucímu postavení v systému sociálních služeb. Výše představená práce si klade za cíl interpretovat veřejnosti Mateřské centrum Klubíčko s jeho individuálním přístupem ke klientele a specifickým přínosem poskytovaných služeb jako příklad dobré praxe.

Abstract:

The key topic of this thesis entitled "The position of maternity centres in the social work system" is pre-school education and social services provided by pre-school children with their somatic, psychic and social handicap, together with special education activities with them in the place of maternity centre. The theoretical part is aimed at the history, significance and scope of the maternity centres. It is more specific about a support and a help for the families with handicapped children, it points out the services at Maternity centre called Klubíčko located in my neighbourhood, in Most district. The practical part is based on the reseach investigation realized by controlled interviews with selected members of the Centre. The conclusion is dedicated to the social neediness of the Center and its future position in the social servises system. This work presented higher is aimed at the presentation of Maternity centre called Klubíčko with its individual approach to clients and the specific contribution of the servises provided as an exaple of a good practice.
