Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Handbook for the Writing part of the new Maturita Exam” se zabývá písemnou částí nové maturitní zkoušky z anglického jazyka, převážně základní úrovní obtížnosti (A1). Diplomová práce je rozdělena do dvou částí – teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část popisuje strukturu nového systému maturitních zkoušek a porovnává je se stávajícím systémem. Dále se zde věnuji procesu psaní a potřebám studentů při tomto procesu. Jsou zde také aktivity rozvíjející dovednosti psaní a dále takové, které pomáhají zvýšit zájem studentů o psaní. Praktická část obsahuje analýzu chyb v písemné práci zadané studentům na Střední odborné škole v Uherském Brodě. Na základě této analýzy je vypracována Příručka pro studenty připravující se na novou státní maturitu z angličtiny – písemnou část. Validita příručky je ověřena písemnou prací zadanou po prostudování příručky.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis „Handbook for the Writing part of the new Maturita Exam “ deals with the Writing Test, Level A1 of Cermat terminology of the new Maturita Exam in English. The thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part solves the new Maturita Exam issue and compares it to the current system with special attention paid to the Writing Test. It also includes the theory of writing where the process of writing and learners´ needs are described. Some activities for developing writing skills and encouraging interest in writing activities are added. The practical part includes the pre-test taken by students at Secondary Vocational School in Uherský Brod and its analysis. On the basis of the analysis of the pre-test, the Handbook for students preparing for the new Maturita Exam in English – the Writing Test is designed. The effectiveness of the Handbook is verified on the post-test which was taken after studying the Handbook.
